About me
Abby is a 5th grade teacher at Durant Elementary school entering her third year of teaching. She is passionate about project based learning, STEM education, and creating accessible learning experiences for all students. After completing a summer teacher externship at with the Iowa Department for the Blind, she developed accessible, phenomenon- based STEM lessons that make learning inclusive for all students. Abby is excited to share how educators can partner with the Library to access resources, accessible STEM practices, and design learning experiences that ensure all students can fully participate and succeed.
