About me
Christi is a K-12 Mathematics Consultant with the Iowa Department of Education, where she supports teachers and leaders in implementing evidence-based mathematics instruction through professional learning, standards implementation, and the use of high-quality instructional materials. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, department chair, district curriculum coordinator, and student assessment consultant, Christi led development of the Iowa Comprehensive State Mathematics Plan and co-leads the State Mathematics Leadership Team. Her passion is helping every learner find their own inner mathematician and bringing classroom-ready practice to statewide efforts.
