As a blind individual who attended Iowa public schools, he offers a firsthand perspective on the importance of accessible educational materials and inclusive learning environments. Leland is a certified Literary Braille Transcriber through the Library of Congress and is passionate about helping educators better understand accessibility, assistive technology, and the practical steps they can take to ensure all students have equal access to learning.
