About me
Marc Pedersen currently teaches the dual credit courses General Chemistry I & II and General Physics I at Des Moines Christian School. Now in his 29th year as an educator, Marc has spent his career helping students develop the problem-solving and critical-thinking skills necessary for success in science and mathematics. He holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership. Throughout his career, Marc has seen technology continually reshape the classroom and believes that artificial intelligence presents both new challenges and new opportunities for education. His current focus is exploring practical ways to help students use AI as a tool that strengthens learning, critical thinking, and problem solving rather than replacing them.
