About me
Pamela Joslyn is a Technical Innovation teacher at Susan Clark Junior High School in Muscatine, Iowa, with 33 years of experience designing authentic, community-connected STEM learning. A 2026 Iowa STEM Teacher Award recipient, Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow, DoD STEM Ambassador, and Fulbright Distinguished Teaching Fellow, her work has attracted grant funding and national recognition for its impact on students and community. Pam's signature "Reinvent Muscatine" program engages 7th and 8th graders in real civic investigations, including the Towhead Island Civic Data Science Project, where students work alongside subject matter experts to collect data, build evidence-based arguments, and present findings to community leaders.
