About me
Sara Nelson is Director of the Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. She also serves with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the School of Education, where she develops and leads initiatives that advance STEM education, workforce development, and space-related research and outreach across Iowa. Through partnerships with educators, industry, government agencies, and community organizations, she expands access to hands-on learning experiences that inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers.
