About me
Taren has spent the past four years at Collins Aerospace leading the Ames, Iowa site as a strategic hub for talent development and innovation in partnership with Iowa State University (ISU). In this role, she supports a large community of student employees, strengthens university research collaborations, and oversees hiring and engagement initiatives. Taren also manages a rotational development program for early‑career engineers and leads a knowledge management effort focused on retaining the company’s most critical knowledge. Prior to joining Collins Aerospace, Taren served as Director of Career Services at Iowa State University, where she led university‑wide career development strategy, expanded professional development programming, and cultivated employer partnerships to enhance opportunities for students and alumni.
